Bourbons is amazing! Every dish was a hit. The Corn Chowder, Hurricane Shrimp, French Dip, and Braised Short Ribs were flavorful and expertly prepared. I also got a surprise birthday cake (can’t recall the name, but it was delicious!). Great food, cozy vibe, and attentive service.
This was a great place on a Friday night dinner outing. The food was top notch and ribs were perfect. I had a chance to enjoy their bread pudding and it was a perfect ending to an amazing meal. Service was great even when the place was packed! Best to make a reservation because this place is popular!
Dinner here was fabulous!! In our party of 4 we had the steak dinner.. baby back ribs.. grilled Salmon (get it blackened) and a burger.. all tasted amazing! We also shared the bread pudding and it was the best I’ve ever tasted! Tyler was our amazing waiter! He is so nice and just fun! We had the best time!
We got the smokehouse pizza. Not bad and something different! We also got the steak burnt ends ! I normally love these ends! The barbecue sauce was overpowering the meat. Sauce was overly sweet. Some people might like them like that. But somewhere it just drowned out the flavor of everything. Other than that, drinks were good and the waiter done a fine job. Love the ambience of the restaurant itself.
Had a great experience here! The salmon salad was absolutely amazing—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The steak was also done just right, juicy and seasoned well. What really made the night even better was the outstanding service from Paul. Friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. Highly recommend if you’re looking for delicious food and top-notch service. Will definitely be back!
We come here often being Brighton residence, but had a really great experience recently during Christmas. I brought my whole team here for a work event. They were ready for us when we arrived, had a beautiful table, set up, had really fast service and amazing food. Everyone in the party commented on the food. We also really enjoyed their Sunday brunch. Our kids love the beignets. And a good mimosa is hard to come by.
We came here for lunch on a Saturday at 1pm. We had a reservation and it was a good thing. Strongly suggest making one. We had fries for an appetizer. They were good. I had the Cajun Ratatouille. It was quite good. Served very hot. The vegetables were very well prepared, with good texture. The spice level was great for me. Enough to cause me to reach for my drink a couple times. This was a highlight for me, and I will return for it. For desert we had a flourless chocolate cake. Also very good. There was one NA beer available, an import. Good. Service was excellent. Prompt, careful, and paced. Questions were answered very well. Overall impressive. The atmosphere was good. Nice decor, and very comfortable seating. The only knock was the volume level that persisted as the place emptied after the lunch rush. The music didn't help. But we were able to talk, so it was acceptable.
We always enjoy time spent at Bourbons. The food and atmospheres are always great. This time our waitress, Chelsea S., went above and beyond. She was so knowledgeable of the menu and so helpful with my husband’s drink choice. I highly recommend stopping in! 10/10
Great place for drinks, great music and atmosphere. Patio dining in the summer. Best thing around is the chocolate decadence dessert. I love rich chocolate desserts and this is my favorite dessert in Brighton so far! It's like eating a piece of cake made of soft dark chocolate fudge.🤤
I’ve been here four times now, and each visit has been a great experience. The customer service is consistently top-tier, and the food has been delicious every time except for one visit that didn’t quite hit the mark. Overall, they’ve been very consistent. Today we stopped in for a quick brunch. While the full brunch menu is usually offered on Sundays, we came on a Saturday and were happy to find a shortened brunch menu available. I ordered the classic BLT with fries, my significant other had the egg croissant with grits, and the kids enjoyed French toast. Every dish was tasty. The BLT stood out with a slightly spicy aïoli that gave it a nice kick. I also had a hot chocolate topped with whipped cream, which was absolutely delicious. I love a good hot chocolate, and since many places don’t offer it, I’m always excited when I find one done well. Our server was Tyler, who I believe also served us during a previous visit for a graduation celebration. His personality really sets the tone, friendly, attentive, and welcoming. From the moment you walk in the door to the service at the table, the staff does an excellent job. We were celebrating my significant other’s 51st birthday, and as always, I truly enjoyed myself. If you haven’t been here yet, I highly recommend arriving early or making a reservation; they’re always packed for a reason.
